For those unfamiliar with GOG, it is a digital distributor of games founded by Polish publisher and developer CD Projekt. Gamers will probably be familiar with CD Projekt’s original game development branch CD Projekt Red, who have worked on expansive RPG games like the Witcher series and Cyberpunk 2077. GOG sells games free of digital rights management and also sells films DRM-free as of 2014.

GOG’s Deep Silver sale includes a wide list of games at different discounts. One of the biggest deals is Metro Exodus, which gamers can get for $13.59, 66% off its previous price. Wasteland 3 also has a higher discount than usual, and gamers can grab it for 40% off for the next 48 hours, after which it will return to 35% off for the rest of the weekend sale. The weekend sale will last until March 22 at 2 p.m. UTC (7 a.m. PT).
As an extra bonus, if gamers already own a Deep Silver game purchased from GOG or buy a Deep Silver game as part of this weekend sale, they can get a free copy of Deadlight: Director’s Cut. GOG gives away free games frequently, and all gamers have to do is add the game to their shopping cart. Deadlight: Director’s Cut is a cinematic side-scrolling survival horror game that tasks players with avoiding Shadow enemies as the protagonist, Randall Wayne.
Also featured on GOG right now are nine classic retro games as part of the Retro First Friday Collection #2 and the Retro Sports Bundle. Some of these include Altered Destiny, Fast Break, MicroProse Soccer, and World Championship Boxing Manager. These games are throwback titles for those who want some old-school fun for a cheap price.
