Okey-dokey. We'll go with good — the Detroit Red Wings' 3-2 win seems far from Reimer's fault. His agent agrees.
And Petkau is right. The Leafs take 43.2 percent of all shots in their games and 42.5 percent of all attempts. That's better than only the Buffalo Sabres, who are the worst team in the league by a wide margin.
UPDATE: Petkau walked it back. Quite a coincidence, though.
In any case, Reimer's playing time has dropped significantly, though he's started of late for the injured Jonathan Bernier. He has said he wants to be a starter in the league, and he's good enough to get a shot. Bernier (.925 save percentage) has clearly beaten him out, though, fairly or not.
So basically, an offseason trade wouldn't be OK for Reimer — it'd be good.
